Um motorista abandonou um caminhão e fugiu durante uma fiscalização da Receita Federal na Ponte Internacional da Amizade, em Foz do Iguaçu, no oeste do Paraná. No veículo, os agentes encontraram cerca de 10 mil anabolizantes escondidos em um fundo falso.

A apreensão aconteceu na manhã desta quarta-feira (22), por volta das 8h, durante uma abordagem de rotina na aduana da ponte. Segundo a Receita Federal, o caminhão tinha placas paraguaias.

Durante a vistoria, os servidores identificaram irregularidades na carroceria e localizaram um compartimento oculto.

Segundo a Receita Federal, a apreensão de anabolizantes é uma das maiores feitas na fronteira.

De acordo com a Receita, após demonstrar nervosismo, o motorista fugiu para o lado paraguaio da fronteira. Ele não foi localizado.

O caminhão e os produtos foram apreendidos e encaminhados para a Polícia Federal. O caso deve ser investigado.
